Block 91

This is one of our edge blocks so, you have a choice.  If you decide to add in the 1/4 inch seam allowance, you'll want to make it following the red & white block.  If you decide to make the block and cut it in half, you'll follow the orange and white block.

Here is the block set out and ready to go.

Here I've started adding the triangles to the middle rectangle and the posts to the remaining borders.

Then, apparently, I somehow blanked on taking more pictures.  So, I added the remaining triangles to the borders.  Then added the borders to the centre.  Resulting in our next finished block...

If you making the whole block and cutting it in half, you'll follow this:

Here is everything set out and ready to go.

The centre square-in-a-square was done using this technique.  I've also added the posts to the remaining borders.

I then added the borders to the centre, to finish the block.

Block 30

We're really into the home stretch now.

Here is this week's block set out and ready to go.  The pile of squares in the upper left hand corner are for the 1/2 square triangles.

Here are the 1/2 square triangles along with a start on the centre.  I'm treating the centre as a series of rows set on point.

Now I've started sewing the 1/2 square triangles together and am ready to attache the centre 'rows'.

Here I've started adding the strips to the 1/2 square triangles and have almost completed the centre.

And here is our finished block.
